Who We Are

Africa Brotherhood Church (ABC) is a vibrant, indigenous African-initiated church with a rich history of faith, unity, and community transformation. Headquartered at Machakos Town in Kenya, ABC has grown from a humble local fellowship into a sprawling international ministry dedicated to witnessing the holistic Gospel of Jesus Christ while celebrating and uplifting African leadership and ideals. 

Since its inaugural Sunday Service on April 8, 1945, the church emerged from the Akamba Christian Brotherhood, a non-denominational unity movement created to reconcile African Christians across colonial and foreign missions divides. Rejecting tribalism, corruption, and social discrimination, ABC was established to prioritize local leadership, education promotion and the enculturation of Christianity, ensuring sound biblical doctrine harmoniously respects the rich African cultural heritage. Today, under the progressive leadership of Archbishop Dr. Timothy Ndambuki, the church continues to champion modern socio-economic development through extensive holistic ministry, education, healthcare networks, commercial real estate investments and dedicated community development ministries that empower the society and members for sustainable development. 

Statement of Faith, Beliefs and Mission

The Africa Brotherhood Church (ABC) holds to the classical evangelical faith, centering on the following pillars:

• The Holy Scriptures: The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final rule for Christian conduct, to be believed and obeyed by all who trust in Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3:16).

• The Holy Trinity: We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

• Jesus Christ: We affirm His deity, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension. We look forward to His personal return to rule the nations in power and glory.

• Salvation: Jesus Christ is the only Savior. Salvation is attained by confessing sins and believing in Him as Lord. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost—one to everlasting life and the other to damnation.

• The Universal Church: The Church is built on the foundation of Christ. It must be free from discrimination, enmity, and favoritism, as these contradict the nature of the Trinity.
