Guided by its core founding objectives, the church champions local solutions to local challenges. By mobilizing African resources and implementing indigenous ideas, ABC empowers its communities to secure their own future in food security, nutrition, water, healthcare, and environmental conservation, completely reshaping the landscape of community development from the ground up.

Our sustainable development goals are realized through highly structured, measurable, and locally managed programs centered around five strategic focus areas:
Food Security & Nutrition: Transforming homesteads through conservation farming, portable kitchen gardens, and value-addition techniques for climate-resilient crops like cassava, sweet potatoes, and green grams.
Water Access & Infrastructure: Actively countering regional water scarcity by designing and deploying localized water-harvesting systems, sand dams, and advanced domestic storage techniques for households and livestock.
Holistic Healthcare & Well-being: Delivering targeted health interventions, including the strategic provision of sanitary towels to school-going girls to ensure uninterrupted access to education.
Economic Independence: Eradicating the cycle of aid dependency by establishing localized banking schemes, cereal bulking facilities, and small-business incubation networks.
Environmental Conservation: Championing indigenous, climate-smart agricultural solutions to protect regional ecosystems against seasonal shocks and dry seasons.
Featured Program: Guardians of Hope (GOH)
The Guardians of Hope (GOH) program is our flagship administrative initiative targeted at reversing the devastating social and economic impacts of HIV/AIDS through radical grassroots capacity building.
Where We Operate: Active across dedicated project sites in Machakos, Kitui, Kathiani, Kangundo, Mbooni, Thika, and Mombasa.
Who We Serve: Supporting thousands of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) alongside 13 distinct self-help groups predominantly consisting of widows and female guardians.
The Strategy: Rather than distributing short-term relief, ABC uses its local church infrastructure to run localized training workshops. Guardians master sustainable, income-generating skills including commercial wood carving, traditional basketry, fabric tie-dye, soap making, and external catering. This focus on economic independence allows vulnerable families to generate their own consistent capital, pay school fees, and establish small businesses entirely free from the volatility of external handouts.
