Undugu TV is the official national commercial, free-to-air broadcasting station owned by the Africa Brotherhood Church (ABC). Based in Machakos, Kenya. Its mission is to spread the “Good News” while promoting unity and love.
The Media and ICT vision of the Africa Brotherhood Church (ABC) represents a dynamic evolution of its founding vision: to foster the holistic growth of the whole person by bridging timeless spiritual nourishment with modern knowledge. Grounded in the conviction that information is power, ABC has actively embraced the digital age, recognizing that true human empowerment requires both spiritual fortitude and technological literacy. Through the strategic deployment of ABC Undugu TV and targeted Information Communication Technology (ICT) initiatives within local churches, the denomination ensures its community is digitally equipped to tackle contemporary global challenges with relevant, sustainable solutions.
At the heart of this digital transformation is Undugu TV, which serves as a powerful broadcast altar that projects the church’s voice far beyond the physical walls of the sanctuary. By seamlessly blending gospel ministry and mid-week sermons with regional news and lifestyle programming, Undugu TV democratizes access to vital information. It acts as a trusted conduit of knowledge, transforming living rooms and community spaces into centers of enlightenment. This progressive media project ensures that church members remain informed, connected, and spiritually anchored, proving that modern mass communication can be a powerful force for personal and social transformation.
Parallel to this broadcasting milestone is the intentional promotion of ICT infrastructure across the network of local ABC churches. By introducing digital tools, training programs, and internet connectivity into the ecclesiastical sphere, the church is actively dismantling the digital divide. These ICT projects transform local congregations into modern hubs of learning and innovation. Congregants, particularly the youth, are not merely passive consumers of technology; they are trained to master digital skills, opening doors to global opportunities, economic self-reliance, and collaborative problem-solving in a fast-evolving marketplace.
This deliberate integration of digital media and technology directly fulfills ABC’s sacred objective to nurture the whole person for the modern era. By empowering the community with digital competence alongside deep moral grounding, ABC prepares its members to face today’s complex world with intelligence, resilience, and faith. This dual focus on spiritual truth and technological mastery ensures that the church’s development strategies remain effective and future-proof. Ultimately, ABC’s investment in Undugu TV and church-based ICT initiatives secures a lasting legacy, raising a digitally empowered generation capable of driving sustainable growth and offering modern, values-driven solutions to society’s most pressing challenges.
